The Inducer™ is a novel IPTG alternative that can be used when problematic inclusion bodies bind up your protein of interest. The Inducer™ works in protein expression systems that utilize the T7lac vector transformed into E.coli. The Inducer™ is used to induce protein expression rates which are lower than IPTG due to the lower affinity for the lac I repressor. Thus the expressed protein is able to fold properly and remain soluble.
